
A suite of new and updated factsheets for students is now available on TASC’s University entrance page. These factsheets have been designed to assist students with planning their studies and answer common questions about course scaling and ATAR calculation.
Updated Factsheets:
- Understanding the ATAR: Student Factsheet | Updated to reflect the change to the ATAR calculation process that applies from this year onwards and to present a clearer picture of the path to an ATAR.
- Understanding Assessment | Addition of an example on page 2 that demonstrates how a course award is calculated.
New Factsheets:
- Focus On: TE Score and ATAR Calculation | Provides examples of TE Scores calculated using: four courses (minimum possible eligibility); five courses; five or more courses (including HAP/UCP units); and Year 13 study.
- Focus On: Course Scaling | Explains the purpose of course scaling, the role scaling plays in TE Score calculation, and provides answers to common questions.
