Online Everyday Adult Use of Computers and the Internet safety net test

The first online TCE Everyday Adult Standard safety net test for Use of Computers and the Internet (ICT) in 2022 will be held on Wednesday 18 May. This test is available for students in Year 12 or 13 who may not meet their ICT standard in another way. The test is free (no cost to schools or students). Please note Year 11 students are not eligible for this round of testing but will be eligible for a later offering in 2022.
- The test will be available online from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm on Wednesday 18 May.
- Students may take up to 90 minutes to complete the test.
Registration information:
- Registration for this test must be submitted in the generic registration spreadsheet via a TRACS task (task type: Online – TCE Standards Test – ICT).
- Registration spreadsheets due to TASC by 5:00pm on Thursday 14 April.
Please note that as in 2021, Year 12 and 13 students who achieve all other TCE Standards may be able to achieve recognition of their TCE Everyday Adult Standard Use of Computers and the Internet without sitting a safety net test, as outlined in this information sheet and on the TASC website.
